I am very proud to welcome you to the website of Dines Green Primary School. I hope it will give you a flavour of our school and its vision; painting a picture of the opportunities offered to our children as they develop into creative, resourceful and resilient learners.
We are lucky that our school is set within fantastic grounds with wonderful large fields, structured play areas and a Forest School site to provide our children with many exciting and stimulating outdoor educational opportunities. Currently we have 250 children on roll, taught in 10 classes in a safe, friendly and welcoming learning environment by a talented staff team with the highest expectations for every child. We strive to teach a creative and varied curriculum, enriched by a range of opportunities and experiences both and in and out of the classroom.
We have agreed our own core values which we work towards as a school community and are proud that our children demonstrate good manners and respect at all times; recognising their role in contributing to a successful wider community.
It is our aim to develop resourceful and responsible young people who have successfully acquired the essential learning skills that they will need for life. We look forward to welcoming you and your children to our happy and popular school.
Mr A Morley
Dines Green School was founded in 1954 to serve a newly built post war estate on the western edge of Worcester. Initially starting life as an Infant School, a Junior School was added in 1960 and a Nursery in 1989. In the early nineties the schools were combined under the leadership of one Head Teacher and physically joined to become the Primary School we have today.
Over the years, Dines Green has provided generations of children with an excellent start to their education. It has spacious accommodation and a large outside area part of which includes a forest school. We now have a full time nursery and a breakfast club.
Today we are a school that is undergoing rapid change and is soon to become an academy. With the support of Governors, Staff and Local Authority we are working hard to provide all of our pupils with the resources and broadly balanced education that they will need.
